Who is responsible
Bubblecactuspopix Design Media Ltd is responsible for personal data it processes in operating bubblecactuspopix.store and handling editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 42 King Street, Hereford HR4 9BX, United Kingdom; company number 15896320. Contact [email protected] with privacy enquiries.
Information involved
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address, any name you provide, message content and ordinary email metadata. Please minimise personal data and do not send sensitive information or confidential drawings.
The contact drafting tool processes its subject and message fields locally. Its code does not transmit those fields to us, use a submission endpoint or persist drafts in local storage. Copying places text on your device’s clipboard at your request. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Your browser or device may independently retain form history, clipboard history or downloaded files.
When a site is accessed, hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, requested resource, browser information and time of access for delivery, troubleshooting and security. The website code does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts.
Purposes and legal bases
We process correspondence to review questions, respond where appropriate, investigate corrections and maintain relevant editorial records. Our basis is generally our legitimate interest in running and improving an independent publication, balanced against individual rights. Security and abuse-prevention processing also serves legitimate interests. Where a legal obligation requires processing or retention, that obligation is the basis.
We do not use the drafting tool to create a marketing list. We do not sell personal data. A separately requested activity that requires consent will require an appropriate, specific choice.
Storage, recipients and transfers
Access to correspondence is limited to people and service providers who need it for the relevant purpose, such as email hosting, site hosting or professional support. Providers may process data on our behalf subject to appropriate arrangements. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Keep in mind that email and infrastructure providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where restricted international transfers occur, applicable safeguards must be used, such as adequacy arrangements or approved contractual protections. You may contact us for information relevant to a particular enquiry.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, taking account of ongoing correspondence, correction records, security needs and legal obligations. Routine enquiries are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed; material connected with a dispute or legal duty may need longer retention. Local drafts and downloaded files remain under your control.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions; we may need proportionate identity verification before acting.
Contact us to exercise a right or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority. We do not use this site for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
